Chicago Podiatric Surgeons Testimonials
"From beginning to end my experience has been wonderful with Dr. Carr and his super efficient staff. I was terrified to have the surgery because I have never had surgery before, but everyone was encouraging and calming to my spirit. 6 weeks later I have a foot with virtually no scars, and have been treated with the best care to ensure my foot heals properly. I would recommend the entire team to anyone needing foot care."

"In October of 2007, I was told by a doctor in Chicago that I should stop running and then was placed in a walking boot for nearly three months. I was miserable and was advised by my friends to seek a second opinion. Upon my visit with Dr. Carr and his staff, they quickly uncovered the true nature of my injury. In May of 2008, I had surgery to repair a ligament, remove screws from a previous ankle surgery, and clean out my joints. With smart recovery, physical therapy, and orthodics, I was able to take up running again. In 2009, I completed my first half-marathon, a ten-mile extreme race, the City Chase, and various other races throughout the summer. I owe all of this to Dr. Carr and his amazing staff. They didn't ask that I change my life style in goals. Instead, they helped give me the tools needed to reach those goals. I am completely grateful. Thank you all so much!"

"As a 26 year-old I was at first a little apprehensive about bunion surgery. After meeting the entire team at Chicago Podiatric Surgeons I felt completely at ease. Ever part of my experience was made clear to me and the staff made sure I was comfortable and knew what was going on. Everything from initial x-rays, through the operation and each physical therapy session was a positive experience. It's been a year since my procedure and I'm happy to say that I'm fully recovered and dancing with pride! Cheers to Dr. Carr and his talented team!"

"I am an ultra runner and have been going to Dr. Carr for about 10 years now.
I saw him the first time regarding bunions on both feet - totally unrelated to running. Knowing that I was training for an upcoming race and that surgery was not immediately necessary, he told me that I could choose when to have surgery to fix them.
However, while training, I stepped in a hole and broke my ankle. Since it was winter, I opted to have bunion surgery on the broken ankle foot first; 6 weeks later, I had surgery on the other foot.
You might have heard horror stories about bunion surgery before, but I had absolutely NO problems. I followed Dr. Carr's instructions for recovery, and since then, I have run 13 marathons and 6 ultra marathons (longer than 26.2 miles).
I have continued to see Dr. Carr for other issues over the years, and he understands my passion for running. Unlike that of many other doctors, Dr. Carr's first reaction to a running "issue" is NOT to "Stop running."
I have the utmost confidence and respect for Dr. Carr and his professional staff.
I now spend most of my time in Idaho; however, I will always come to Chicago to see Dr. Carr for anything concerning my feet!"

"I researched several Doctors before choosing Dr. Carr. His staff is outstanding, both in their personalities and their work performance. Dr. Carr, is incredible. He isn't rushed, he spends time explaining procedures, and he actually cares about his patients and his work. His facility is high tech, comfortable, and very clean. Dr. Carr and his staff have always been on-time for appointments, never keeping us waiting. I hope I don't have to have any more foot surgeries, but if I do, I would trust my feet again to Dr. Carr and his staff. You only have 2 feet, and when you don't have the use of one, well, it's no fun."

"Dear Dr Carr
How can I express my gratitude and appreciation for all your gifted skillful care and talent? As a team, you brought hope and encouragement back into both my husband's and my life. You have made a remarkable difference. Dr Carr, your clinic is by far one of the most professional, friendly, pleasant, and lovely environments I have ever been. The overall attitude is inviting and reminds me of the much missed care of the past. Your support and honesty have been tremendously touching and healing. Your staff is alert, sensitive and skillful and you have made me feel and most welcomed and fortunate patient. Even though I know you endure stressful days, I don't feel it, in fact you make me feel very much at ease and assured. I am privileged and honored to know you. I am fortunate to have found you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything. All my special thanks to you."
