Dr. Deepa Bhatt-Montoya earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. She then went on to attend podiatric medical school at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, receiving her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Bhatt-Montoya then completed a podiatric surgical residency from the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI, where she served as Chief Resident.
