Michael S. Williams, DPM, AACFAS

Dr. Michael Williams is a native Chicagoan who was recruited back to his hometown from our nations’ capital by Chicago Podiatric Surgeon. He has been in private practice with us since 2012. He specializes in Elective/Cosmetic podiatric surgical procedures, Diabetic Limb Salvage, Pediatric Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, but his practice includes all ages and pathologies related to the foot or ankle.

Dr Williams graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. There he was very involved with community service and the university’s administration acting as IFC’s VP of Judicial Affairs. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Doctor William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine where he continued his involvement with community service, while serving as his classes’ Judicial Representative. He then went on to Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC, where he acted as Chief Resident at one of the largest podiatric surgery residencies in the US, There, he received three years of advanced training by some of the nation’s leading authorities.

In his free time, Dr Williams enjoys exercise and traveling.



Practice Philosophy: "I understand that we all lead busy lives in this day and age. My goal is to create a custom treatment plan that works for you as an individual at this point in time. Sometimes that is a conservative treatment plan, sometimes it is surgery. It all depends on what you need in the moment."
